Interaction are proud to be supporting a market leading manufacturer within the automotive industry in their search for a Design/Applications Engineer.
The purpose of the role is to drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the design and develoment process of new products and to work closely with the senior management team to identify and provide reliable solutions for any technical issues that the customer may have during the sales and after-sales process.
You will be:
- Designing and preparing drawings for new products to bring to market
- The primary technical source for the sales team
-Supporting the sales team to identify technical solutions for client requirements.
- Work closely with the engineering and development team to specify technical requirements and oversee project implementation.
- Assist in testing and prototyping as required.
- Working as part of a busy, multi skilled engineering department.
- Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
