We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Product Governance Support to join a large insurance organisation.

Role Description

The Product Governance process aims to ensure customers or shareholders if suffering detriment due to a failure in our Governance are placed back into the correct position as if the issue had not arisen. These issues may be identified following a complaint or internal identification.

This role is key to ensuring the correct action is taken within the Corporate Benefit Solutions area by supporting Product Governance teams to analyse Product Governance issues, understands their priority, the impact on customers or shareholders, communicate to customers the outcomes including draft letters, organising mailings and drive through relevant solutions.

The Team

The Product Governance team report in to the Product Manager within the Product and Proposition area of Corporate Benefits Solutions. The team at present will consist of support of SMEs from Operations, IT, Proposition and actuarial analysis to drive through solutions. The team will work across the three platforms of CBS (My Money, Unisure and NGP).

The Person

The person who takes on this role will enjoy working in a small team, completing analysis and striving to deliver excellent customer service. They will value fairness to customers and delight in putting customers in the financial position that they are entitled to. They will enjoy working with autonomy, taking ownership for particular areas of work. They will build productive relationships with the rest of the PG team and others outside of it. Duties & Responsibilities

Key features of the role include:

  • Delivery of product governance issue solutions. Supporting the Team Leader in tracking and monitoring the delivery against targets of a small team.
  • Organising communications to customers including drafting of letters.
  • Supporting investigation work on a set number of Product Governance issues
  • Working within required timescales to ensure team demands are met with an awareness of impacts/dependencies on other areas of the PG team and the rest of the business
  • Understanding customer and shareholder needs and requirements.

Skills & Experience required

  • Good customer service experience and a record of delivery in this environment
  • Some experience of customer communications
  • Some experience of reporting progress of the team against targets with the support of the team manager..
  • Strong communication skills, and an ability to work with people effectively
  • A working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Some working knowledge of Pension products - one of the current CBS platforms is desirable (My Money/NGP or Unisure)
  • Good level of TCF awareness
