Our client is a leading design and manufacturer within the steel industry who are looking to recruit a Technical Engineer to join their Technical Department.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate, competitive and detailed technical quotes for required steel components
• Prepare load assessments and load calculations
• Specify standard off-the-shelf products
• Design custom-made items using AutoCAD
• Prepare calculations at the customer's request to satisfy building control authority
• Resolving technical phone queries with the highest level of technical and customer service
The ideal candidate will have:
• Degree in Civil/Structural engineering
• Previous experience in the construction industry
• Established AutoCAD structures experience is essential
• Previous experience in a similar role
The salary is negotiable dependent on experience. My client will consider applications from Civil or Structural Engineering graduates.
