We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a market leading construction testing organisation near Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded individual, with a particular interest in the calibration and testing of sound measurement, pressure flow and temperature equipment. Our client is at pivotal stage in their history and to coincide with expansion plans for 2017 and further, they have set up a laboratory to meet all their calibration needs.
Responsibilities-
Prepare, modify and update procedures for calibration.
Ensure all procedures are followed carefully.
Accurate record keeping at all times.
Ensure all laboratory equipment is kept calibrated and all certificates are catalogued as required.
Calibrate customers equipment on a daily basis.
Progress us through getting the laboratory certified to ISO 17025 in a pre-agreed timescale.
Making sure all compliance is adhered to in line with Quality regulations.
Ensuring Health and Safety are being met with test apparatus.
Conducting tests and measurements.
Liaising with clients and industry contacts to advise and interpreting test variables.
Calibration and testing of measurement equipment.
Preparing technical reports.
Maintaining up to date awareness and knowledge of acoustic and sustainability measurement regs.
Our client is seeking a multitalented individual who is able to work on their own initiative with a team orientated attitude. A willingness to play an active part in the team is essential, but you must also have the tenacity to take on new challenges and complete them with efficiency and ease.
Excellent IT literacy is required, along with excellent communication skills and the desire to achieve your full potential within what is considered as a household name in the construction compliance market.
