Injection Moulding Setter

CDS Recruitment Limited are working with a client who are looking to recruit an Injection Moulding Setter on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be part of a team responsible for the efficient setting and running of Injection moulding machines.
Key accountabilities:
?? Setting and programming of robots in line with production plan.
?? Be responsible for the effective operation of all moulding machines and equipment.
?? Be familiar with all ancillary equipment such as mould heaters, hot runner controllers, dual axis robots.
?? Carry out visual audits and safety checks on all machines as defined in the safety log.
?? Work to company health and safety procedures at all times.
?? Support engineering with new tool trials as required.
?? Report any hazards or risk immediately to shift supervisor.
?? Follow first of/last off procedure.
?? Have an active role in continuous improvement ie, optimising machine cycle times, reducing scrap.
?? When required, assist with the training newer staff members with the procedures.
?? Carry out any other task that is deemed suitable by the management.

Skills and Knowledge Required:
?? Have experience in i njection moulding.
?? Have Level 3 in Injection Moulding Technology or equivalent.
?? Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
?? Have solid technical knowledge of mould tools and processes.
?? Be target driven.
?? Be organised and be able to prioritise own workload.
?? Be punctual and reliable.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and skills.
Hours of work at 37.5 per week, working a 3 shift pattern with a Shift Allowance and Overtime when worked.
