Transmission and Driveline Engineer (PE level) - Perm to GBP55K, Oxford
I am seeking a permanent Principal Engineer to work at a transportation consultancy based in Oxfordshire. You will be working on a variety of projects from yachts, to aerospace to automotive projects including hybrid technologies. You will be responsible for:
- Leading projects, managing teams, budgets, timing and ensuring deliverables and gateways are met
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and manufacturing from a technical perspective
- Be responsible for ensuring the integrity of technical solutions and CAD drawings
- Be able to lead and develop junior engineers
What You Will Need:
- Senior or principal level experience in transmissions and active driveline systems (hydraulic systems)
- Proven experience of concept design and use of CAD (ideally catia V5)
- Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Be able to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Have a UK driving licence as travel will be required
