We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager for our client based in Exeter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day running of a busy accounts department and reporting to the Directors.
Your duties will include:
• Administration and processing of all business expenses using Sage 50 Accounts Professional
• Online banking, statements and inter-account transfers
• Posting and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Monthly reconciliation of suppliers' accounts
• Posting supplier invoices /credits /payments to purchase ledger, using both manual and printed cheques
• Preparation of month end accounts
• Producing monthly reports of purchases
• Payroll for 80 employees using Sage 50
• Managing the timely and accurate maintenance of the ledgers, account reconciliation and reporting
• Submission of monthly PAYE payment to HMRC
• Implementing and improving accounting functions where necessary
You will have strong analytical skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business to build key working relationships. Strong Excel skills are essential and the ability to consistently deliver accurate and timely financial information.
