We are a traditional family run garden centre and coffee shop with a small, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly team of staff. We have a reputation for offering an excellent range of quality plants at exceptional value, with many plants grown on site.
We are currently looking to recruit a full-time garden centre assistant, plant knowledge is required and previous experience of working in a garden centre/nursery is preferred. This role would involve receiving plants from deliveries, assisting with all aspects of nursery production, creating displays and merchandising, plant care and maintenance. Staff will be expected to work in all departments if required ie production, sales and till operation. Customer service is also a big part of this role as we continually aim to provide a friendly and knowledgeable experience. You would need good discipline and the ability to work alone or as part of a small team. Staff are expected to work 5 days a week based on a 7-day rota.
