The Transport Management team in Europe organises, administers and follows up vessel and container transports of raw material for our Client's production sites in Europe. They are currently in a transformation journey which aims to transform our Client’s global supply chain and transition the company towards a more process orientated global approach.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join them where you will manage a small team of Transport Coordinators that look after the container freight and road transport from their Pocklington production site. This is a permanent, full time position.

Reporting to the Transport Manager (who is based in Sweden) you will manage the work and development of the Transport Coordinators and overall team performance. Efficiently creating shipment plans for delivery and raw materials, the role involves monitoring container transport from Pocklington and securing on-time execution, whilst developing and improving the export administration process flow.

They are looking for someone who has a wealth of experience working with logistics and container operations, including adapting container transport legislation. With knowledge of ADR, IMDG and VGM regulations, you will have a qualification in Logistics Management or Business Administration and be highly IT literate, preferably with experience in SAP, Business Objects and Microsoft Office packages.

A team player with leadership skills you will be motivated and able to work effectively whilst under pressure, and in a changing environment.
