Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Tilbury, Essex
Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 per annum (depending upon experience)

Job Role:
Our Client requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join their Conventional Asset.
The successful candidate would prepare information and documentation for the accounts department within the Conventional Asset in order to raise invoices/credits, to assure payments in relation to revenue earned is received within set time limits and the collation and entering of documentation in relation to the shipping industry.
Applicants should have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise their workload as well as working to tight deadlines. Experience and knowledge of cargo handling accounts and figure conversion using accounting factors would be an advantage. IT skills are also essential, especially in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the IPOS port operating system would be an advantage, although training will be given to the right applicant.
Applicants should be educated to GCSE standard with good passes in Maths and English.
