Our client has an excellent reputation across the utilities industry. The core of the business involves specialising in term utility construction projects for various blue chip clients. Due to growth within the business they are looking to strengthen the company at a Senior level.

Key Essentials:

* As Operations Director you will be required to take a hands-on approach with complete ownership of projects. Reporting to the Directors you will be involved in overseeing Senior Management; ensuring that resources are efficiently managed

* A key part of the role will involve helping to develop and grow the business. It is essential that you have a keen eye for spotting any potential opportunities / clients along with the know-how to drive forward

* Your role will involve overseeing your own Profit and Loss ensuring all Financial Targets are achieved; a good Commercial understanding is essential

* You will be responsible for ensuring that all targets are achieved to quality standards whilst providing excellent customer service in a safe environment

* Your role will involve overseeing staff performance, training, development and discipline whilst recruiting for any future appointments

Requirements:

* You should ideally be qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline with relevant Health & Safety accreditation. It is essential that you have previous Senior Management experience in the Utilities Industry for a Main Contractor

* This is a hands-on role and you should be prepared to take complete Operational ownership of projects

This is an excellent position in a rapidly growing company that offers a salary of up to GBP100k + Fully Comprehensive Package
