Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role Overview
This is an opportunity to secure a role as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant which is well-led and supported. You will be delivering interventions as required under the guidance of the SENCO and Head of English/Maths, planning and contributing to lessons and activities to ensure the interventions are making a positive impact. The school are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who can help SEND pupils understand what they need to do to make further progress not just academically but also socially. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting learning in the dedicated SEN unit, catering to the individual needs of SEN pupils. You will contribute to the SEN objectives to raise attainment and focus learning by supporting booster groups and 1:1 intervention sessions. Your responsibilities will involve helping the teacher create an engaging lesson and making sure the proper class resources are available to deliver it.
