Salary £7.50 - £8.50 p.h 
15 hours per week over 2 days

Our client has identified a part time opportunity for an experienced Cook join their care home for 15 hours per week based in Welland, WR13.

The role:
As the Cook you must be a dynamic individual where your remit will include:
•    Preparing meals from the daily menu
•    Responding to any special dietary requirements or preferences, promoting choice, dignity and respect
•    Managing the kitchen supplies, you will also be responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment
•    Completing all necessary paperwork such as COSHH, HACPP, whilst adhering to company policies and procedures
•    Occasionally, you will help cater for ad hoc special events, including 100th birthday celebrations, summer fetes and Christmas parties
What you need:
•    Valid Food Hygiene Certificate is essential 
•    Experience working in a fresh food kitchen and the passion to always strive to achieve the highest standard of catering
•    Genuine interest and love for food and full understanding of the importance of good quality, home cooking to our clients residents
•    Experience to working under pressure and have the ability to work well within this environment
•    Empathetic individual who holds great interpersonal skills
