The Insurance & Legal Services department is one of the fastest growing areas within FMG and as such we require an additional Team Manager to help support the existing management team.  We are organised into 8 different teams offering a variety of services and delivering different business objectives;  Third Party Capture, Third Party Claims Management, Insurance FNOL Handling, Insurance Broker Claims Management, Insurance Services, Uninsured Loss Recovery, Non Fault Hire and Personal Injury referral.

Motor Insurance Claims Manager - The Role

You will be required to lead, coach and develop half of the Insurance & Legal Services teams to provide the very highest standards of customer service, according to the specific requirements of each client organisation, maintaining a strong focus on operational targets; performance improvement; revenue maximisation and cost reduction and protect organic growth. You will be an articulate individual with excellent communication and relationship skills and a well-developed sense of financial awareness, who can see the bigger picture and work closely with peers and line managers to ensure delivery against targets.

 Motor Insurance Claims Manager - The Candidate:

- You will have extensive Motor Insurance Claims Handling knowledge based on experience of working within the Insurance Industry.  This will include all aspects of motor insurance claims including third party liability claims

- As a proven people manager you will recognise and value the importance of leading your Team Leaders in developing engaged high performing teams who are clear on their and the overall business objectives. Your approach to this will be highly motivating and will ensure that you create an environment that is both energetic and engaging. Visible management with a ‘hands on’ approach is a must

- Being highly Customer and Delivery focused you will continually pursue service improvements and articulate these into projects where tangible benefits, both internal & external, are demonstrated leading to overall service and efficiency gains

- As someone that understands the need for innovation to improve the service and products delivered to our customer base, you will be open to, welcome and promote where required change as a key part of this roles requirements

- You will possess excellent communication and relationship skills and effectively identify and influence key stakeholders.

- It is essential that you are able to work in a fast paced environment and have the confidence to identify when changes need to be made and have the ability to communicate these in the correct manner

- With a thorough and well developed understanding of FMG’s key objectives you will use this understanding and knowledge to make recommendations which positively benefit commercial decisions and maximise revenue.

- Excellent time management skills are a must due to the size of the role and you will ensure you use these daily to ensure each aspect of performance is reportable to line managers and the wider business

- With good IT/BI skills you will have the ability to create and maintain the necessary KPI’s and data which will allow the continuous development of the department

- A strong identification with FMG’s Values and an ability to demonstrate a close match to the person specification and the key competencies for the role
