CNC Operator - Foam

One of the country's leading Technical Textile Manufacturers is currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Operator to work within a busy manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Cell team leader.

Main duties for this role will be:
- Setting up and operating of a CNC foam cutting machine, potential programming and configuration of supporting software
- Process control and improvement of all aspects of the foam conversion cell. From foam block and materials handling, blocking off, CNC, lamination, assembly and packing.
- Part of a team Responsible for the establishing of and continued improvement in housekeeping standards.

The ideal candidate:
- Ideally experienced with the foam cutting industry, although operators with alternative CNC cutting machinery experience may be considered dependant on industry
- Familiar with manufacturing systems with an exceptionally high level of attention to detail.
- A high level of numeracy
- Experience of foam lamination would be desirable
- A good understanding surrounding the importance of Health & Safety
- Be able to work to strict deadlines
- Possess a professional approachable manner at all times, with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Experience of working within a 'Lean Manufacturing' environment would be desirable

Hours of work: 37.75 per week Monday - Friday, although some flexibility may be re required going forward.
