We seek Degree qualified Mechanical Design Engineers to join a team of multi-skilled Engineers to develop production tooling solutions.
You will support the development of innovative tools, jigs and fixtures providing manufacturing solutions to a diverse range of industry sectors.
About You:
You will have proven experience of providing design support in a precision engineering, R&D environment from initial design conception through to final completion and delivery of the solution to the end Client and will be able to take a direct, hands-on approach at all stages of the design, development, testing and production.
You will:
Offer a flexible approach and be keen to take a hands-on role in the design, development, manufacture, assembly and refinement of projects at all stages.
Be prepared to use workshop skills to support the manufacture of components and assemblies.
Have the desire and ambition to achieve excellence in all aspects of your role.
Education and Experience:
Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.
Candidates who have served a recognised engineering Apprenticeship and gained relevant design and development experience will also be of interest.
A keen in interest in engineering and proven workshop skills.
NX (9) CAD Skills are highly desirable, plus experience of PLM.
