The Client
This excellent opportunity is with a leading supplier of security products for the financial services and banking industries. They are currently experiencing a period of growth due to the development of innovative new technology. To satisfy demand, they require an outstanding Electronics Test Engineer to work on a number of leading edge projects.
The Role
The Test Engineer will work within a small team of engineers to take projects from initial concepts through hardware & functional requirements gathering, documenting hardware & software tests, hardware & software design reviews, hardware prototyping, performing hardware & software test, hardware fault finding & software debug, verification, validation & acceptance, manufacture and product support phase.
The Candidate
You will have a mixture of hardware and software test understanding with competency in C programming and a good understanding of software unit test. Additionally, a competency for reading circuit schematics of embedded systems and experience of hardware fault finding to component level will be required. You should have a good understanding of software lifecycle and embedded system test and debug skills.
