Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-reliability data bus, motion control and solid-state power controller products for aerospace and defense vehicles, and industrial applications.
Sr Applications Engineer
Provide technical support for customers and salespeople in an effort to win customer designs for products. The main remit of the role is to support Sales Managers in the Design of company products, and to act as a technical expert able to deal with enquiries from customers in an effective and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for customers and salespeople in an effort to win customer designs for Company products. Learn new technologies to support the technical direction of new company products.Visit customer facilities and make technical presentations. Provide market feedback and support marketing efforts.
Required skills/experience:
An engineer with experience of relevant technologies (ASIC Design, Mil1553, Arinc429, AFDX) who is interested in moving into applications.
Ideally, experience with single board computers, processors, routers and switches is desirable
