Position: Risk & Compliance Manager
Location: Bristol

Our company client is a highly regarded General Insurer who are actively seeking to take on board a dynamic and articulate Risk & Compliance Manager to become part of their team based in Bristol. The successful applicant will oversee a small team of Risk & Compliance professionals and report directly into the CF10 and will gain 1st hand exposure to how an international insurance business operates and promote an open door policy for all regulatory advice.This is an exciting opportunity for career progression.
Top duties will include as follows:
* Working closely with all of the business areas in the UK to identify, analyse, co-ordinate and implement any changes in response to additional legal or regulatory compliance requirements
* To develop and/or work with management to develop and review as appropriate the necessary policies, procedures and manuals
* Reviewing, updating and implementing the Compliance Monitoring Plan for the UK business.
* Leadership of a small team
Experience and essential skills:
* The company are looking for strong Compliance professionals with a proven track record of managing small teams.
* General Insurance is not a prerequisite, however the ability to communicate at both senior and junior levels is essential.
