My client, a leading player in the field of Electronic Component Distribution are seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineer (FAE).
The ideal candidate shall be Degree qualified or similar with high level of technical experience across a variety of technical products and excellent communication skills. A team player with good interpersonal & organisational skills, excellent telephone manner and be ready to take the initiative. Candidates could be either established in Field Applications OR a commercially minded hardware design engineer with a solid track record across a multitude of different products.
Duties will include technical support of franchise manufacturers, driving design-in projects forward through direct customer contact, liaising with sales staff, customers & suppliers, technical training of sales staff, input to marketing activities through PR and web site development.
A Distribution background and a solid knowledge of wireless products would be an advantage, however, a general knowledge of products such as processors and MCU??EURs would be ideal.
