This role will be manufacturing complex electro mechanical products that form part of radar system range, this will be done by assembling, testing and reworking the products.
Key duties include-
- Work and rework to a high standard of accuracy, consisting of operations such as, soldering & unsoldering, wiring & crimping, drilling, filing & cutting, detailed rework of printed circuit assemblies, and application of mastic & adhesives, using a variety of tools and equipment necessary to complete the operations.
- Check and inspect own work and work of others, including proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Participate with the creation of SOPs etc.
- Assembly, test and rework of electro mechanical equipment to a high standard of quality.
- Work from detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, oral and written instructions
- Enter data into the company business data management system
- Maintain a good team working environment, while making sure you complying with continuous improvements in the business
For this role you will need to have an analytical approach to problem solving, some knowledge of RF testing, fault finding, rework and assembly. To be PC literate working on Microsoft Word and Excel. Someone who has preferably had at least 2 years' experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
