Sales Account Manager

- Salary - GBP14,000 - GBP15,000/annum
- OTE -GBP19,000
- Location - Halifax, Calderdale

We are looking for Motivated individuals to work as Internal Sales Account Manager at a client of ours in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Key Aspects of the Role:

Working within the Sales Team you will account manage existing customers and develop new targeted accounts. You will work towards revenue and margin targets and support your team members when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Target, develop and grow a group of set accounts

Build professional, strategic and productive business relationships with account base

Regularly achieve individual revenue and margin targets

Understand the account base and demonstrate accurate account mapping / forecasting within all accounts

Monitor credit limits and liaise with our credit team for increases

Demonstrate significant growth across all accounts

Provide customer quotations, helping to resolve any queries and load purchase orders

Provide up to date back order reports as required

General administration relating to the sales process

Promote benefits to customers for purchasing through our web portal

Candidate profile:

Previous track record in sales or experience working in a IT reseller would be of an advantage but not essential as full training is provided

Proactive Account Management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A strong and disciplined attitude to work

Good grammatical and numerical skills

IT knowledge would be a beneficial

Good knowledge of Word, Excel and mail packages

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a sales environment and ideally experience of working for an IT reseller although this is not essential.

We are looking for self-motivated, confident and organised individuals with excellent attention to detail. You must have a polite telephone manner and the ability to adapt to changing situations. The role is target driven so a will to succeed in your role is a must!
