We are currently working with a highly innovative transport systems company, they are currently looking for 8 x electrically-biased electrical engineers or electrical technicians to come on board for a year long project they have recently won
The project will require Electrical Engineers to fit Alarm systems to over 6000 buses across the UK. They need competent Electrical Engineers / Technician who have a strong electrical / electronics understanding, and ideally a previous experience working in the automotive or avionic or transport industry.
The role will involve:
- Installing Hardware
- Fitting Handbrake Alarm systems
- Understanding Schematics
- Installing Wiring Looms
Ifyou are confident in at least three of these and are a confident electrical engineer then please get in touch
The role will comprise of a 40hr week, Monday - Thursday night shifts, there will be opportunities for extra earning through overtime. Moreover, as the buses are located nationwide we estimate that electrical engineers will be staying away 90% of the time. We are going to pay a flat fee per shift of GBP100 to cover the cost of Digs, Fuel & Food.
We are ideally looking for people who are based anywhere in the midlands, as the manufacturing plant is in Coventry so would act as a central point for occasion training and team meetings
This role would ideally suit Vehicle technicians with experience fitting Car Alarms or Car Radio's or other electronics, Ex-forces who have worked on Vehicles whilst in service or electrical engineer working in any transport or mechanical industry, essentially engineers electrically-biased experience but with a mechanical understanding
The project will start at the end of January and work will be guaranteed for at least 47 weeks with a possibility of last up to 2 years and we are looking to pay 17.50 p/h + GBP100 Expenses rate.
