I am currently working in partnership with one of the UK's leading technology SME's who, after a restructuring are looking to recruit a talented Principal LabVIEW Engineer to join one of the strongest teams in design and development in the world.
Having just appointed a brand new CEO and adopting a new business strategy, now is an excellent time to join this company.
Role
You will be the Principal LabView software developer to support a small team of engineers responsible for delivering fuel cell and component test stations.
You will gain an understanding of test station requirements from various engineering functions, Design test station software using LabView and in accordance with company processes, Enhance and support existing test stations, Creation of relevant test station documentation and Fault finding.
You will be responsible for Selection and support of test station instrumentation hardware and National Instruments software.
Key Skills
Essential
-Certified LabVIEW Developer (LabVIEW Architect desirable)
-NI DAQ knowledge
-Working with engineering teams and the use of test stations
-Writing well structured LabView software adhering to good
coding practices
-Supporting test stations
-Fault finding both software and test station hardware
-Interfacing test instrumentation with LabView
-Communication protocols including CAN and RS232
-Interfacing non-NI instrumentation to LabView
Salary/Benefits
Up to 55,000 - Could go higher for the right candidate
