MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology - Cambridge
The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) is a leading institute for biological research. We are seeking a helpful, approachable and motivated individual to contribute to the smooth running of the Stores function at the LMB.
As a member of the Stores team, you will assist by covering all general stores duties which will include the provision of a counter service, assembly of electronic requests, unpacking and receipting parcels using an electronic system and organising the collection of outgoing goods. You will also be a required to assist the Operations Group with a variety of general day-to-day activities.
Applicants should have a good standard of education with previous experience of stores / goods in, ideally within a scientific/academic environment although this is not essential as full training will be given.
A full clean driving licence and forklift licence would also be advantageous.
You should be computer literate with good numeracy skills, good oral and written communication and have the ability to work as part of a team and also work independently with minimum supervision.
