Our client in Yeovil is an established company specialising in organising group travel for educational, musical and religious groups. They are looking for an organised, pro active person to join their team as a Travel Coordinator.
As a Travel Coordinator you will be responsible for organising tours from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include, but wont be limited to:
- Make reservations and confirm arrangements with vendors
- Organise all travel arrangements and activities
- Collect and analyse client feedback and tour evaluations
- Assist in research and selecting vendors for use
- Assist in pricing requests and client feedback
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure all travel document's and paperwork are obtained and valid
Other Duties and responsibilities:
- You may be required to travel to Europe on occasion to attend trade shows and meet with vendors
- Ensure all legal compliance standards are adhered to for transportation services
- Inspect the product as needed following School Travel Forum requirements
You will be:
- Highly organised
- Adaptable to change
- Work well under pressure
- Ideally you would have worked in the travel industry before
- Able to multi task
- Confident on the phone
The role is Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
My client is offering a salary of ??18,500 per annum
20 days holiday + bank holidays, this will increase by 1 day for every year you have worked
