A manufacturer of fast paced production machinery recognised worldwide are seeking a Technical Support Person to be the first point of contact for technical support both internally and externally to the business worldwide. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical experience and a background in automation.

The Role
Reporting in to the Service Manager you will provide technical support to customers throughout the world, support customers by identifying spare parts, liaise with project teams regarding new project specifications, actively sell to new and existing clients to increase service revenue, attend the customer sites on occasions, fault find during a breakdown, support the installation teams with technical advice and report design problems to the relevant parties.
The Person
Desirably educated to a minimum of HND in a Mechanical or Engineering discipline, you will have a technical knowledge of automation, PLCs, Pneumatics and mechanical assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience of conveyor systems and installation work in a commercial sector. Those with CAD experience will be at a distinct advantage.
