The main purpose of this Assistant Management Accountant role is:-
- To provide support to the Management Accountant in our Group Planning
- Assisting in the maintenance and development of the budgeting and reporting package
- Assist with coordination and preparation of annual budgets and reforecasting
- Work closely within the Group Finance team to assist in the preparation of month end group and divisional reporting
- Assist in the administration of the accounting system and wider finance reporting processes
- Liaise with commercial finance teams for each division support and enhance reporting across the wider business
To be successful for this role the candidate must have the following skills:-
- Ideally you will be of graduate calibre
- You will be part qualified in either CIMA or ACCA looking to complete your studies in the next 1 - 2 years
- You should have at least 2 years experience within Management Accounts with the desire to continue progressing in this field
- Demonstrate ability to take individual responsibility, but also work within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills working with external and internal colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Solid computer knowledge using medium to large company computer packages together with Microsoft Word and Excel
