We are a leading software service provider to progressive student housing and residential property companies in the UK and internationally. As Account Manager you fulfil a vital role within the business and become a primary point of contact for customers throughout their relationship with us. As such you are not only fulfilling your duties as Account Manager but are also an ambassador for the business.

The Account Manager Opportunity: 

You will be required to cooperate with various teams on positioning and delivery of proposals to customers, and proactively build successful relationships with strategic partners. We are looking to develop initiatives to help our client’s leverage the value and ROI from the software services they use and anticipate you will work closely with colleagues in Presales, Services, Support, Product Management and Strategic Partners.

Main Duties will include:

+ Lead point of contact for customers
+ Carry out periodic service reviews and agreements with customers
+ Coordinate internal and external parties to meet account objectives and customers expectations
+ Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on a continual basis
+ Represent and promote when appropriate the range of company products, its road map and business services 
+ Discover and win up-selling opportunities to increase gross revenue per client whilst maintaining a ‘trusted partner’ relationship with each client
+ Be commercially aware of project budgets including costs and income
+ Ensure client satisfaction at all times whilst managing expectations and maintaining quality of service
+ Seek to understand and predict industry trends
+ Understand client business model and their short, medium and long term business goals

About You:

Applicants should be educated to an undergraduate level and have at least two or three years’ experience in a similar IT, account management or real estate focused environment.

+ Excellent communication in a multicultural environment including presenting, speaking, writing and negotiating with all levels of seniority
+ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build a quick rapport and trust with new and existing customers
+ Highly organised at all times on all client accounts
+ Seek and win up-selling opportunities to increase gross revenue per client whilst maintaining a ‘trusted partner’ relationship with each client.

You may have worked in the following capacities:
SaaS Account Manager, IT Software Solutions Account Manager, Software Services Account Manager, Client Account Manager, IT Services Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager.
