Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join an organisation based on the outskirts of Wakefield. The successful candidate will have experience assisting a Management Accountant in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, helping achieve the general objectives of the department.
The main duties and responsibilities are to include:
*Work alongside the Management Accounts to prepare the monthly accounts
*Process bank reconciliations and cash book postings
*Keeping the fixed asset register up to date while calculating the depreciation
*Prepare VAT returns
*Calculation of prepayment and accruals with the use of auto postings
*Ensure sales invoices are raised in a timely manner
*Process of purchase ledger invoices
*Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the line manager
