Leakage Technician

Our client a major player within water leakage is looking for experienced leakage technicians to join their expanding team in the South and South West England areas starting in for a 3 to 6 -month period with a possibility to extend beyond for a further 3 to 6 month.

Depending on experience the ideal candidate will be looking at up to ??25k per annum, on a contract rate.

Role
Field Technicians will be required to undertake water distribution activities on sites in the South and South West of England, in the area covering Bristol, Swindon and Salisbury

Requirements
Engineers with the following attributes:

??Previous experience in Leakage Detection and Pipe Tracing,
??Proficiency in the use of leakage detection equipment such as a Correlator, Pipe Tracer and Listening Stick and Ground Microphone
??Relevant qualifications, including an NVQ Level 2 in Leakage,

Candidate must possess the following;

?? Excellent knowledge of Water Supply Networks
?? Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
?? Good all-round IT Skills including Windows / Office package essential
?? National Water Hygiene Card essential
?? NRSWA essential
?? Valve Operations Certificate
?? Full Driving License essential as the role may involve significant travel
?? Enjoy working outdoors essential
