Covering Eastern England region

Established in 1981, this well developed and growing company has become market leader in certain products within the process valve market. Sales Engineer - Valves to join their field based team covering the Eastern England region.

With a strong customer base they are recruiting for a Sales Engineer - Valves who can not only support existing and new customers in the Hertfordshire and surrounding areas but who can make a dramatic improvement in the sales of their high quality products within this region. 

What’s the role?
As a Sales Engineer - Valves you’ll be responsible for:
•    Developing new and existing relationships with customers through regular contact / visits
•    Pro-actively seeking and identifying new business opportunities whilst achieving substantial targets 
•    Providing technical advice on products and applications
•    Project handling for valves and controls and full product responsibility 
•    The position will involve travel to the clients German HQ for training and other meetings, all expenses covered

The key things you’ll need to be considered for this role:
1.    Experience of valve systems is an essential element to this role, any candidates without this experience will unfortunately not be considered for this position
2.    Proven experience in process valves sales is essential
3.    A full understanding of the sales cycles and familiarity working with Users, Contractors, Specifiers and OEM’s
4.    An Engineering background and a substantial sales growth achievement history is essential 
5.    Computer literate
6.    Target driven
7.    Must have a clean driving licence
