Are you a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with a good understanding of Autism and moderate learning difficulties? Are you looking for a new challenge in an "Outstanding" SEN School? If so we have an exciting opportunity in the Colchester area that could be the job for you.
We are looking for an experienced teacher to work at a special school in Colchester. The successful teacher will be required to teach cross curricular, planning and delivering inspiring and motivational lessons.
Experience working in a special school would be advantageous but they will also consider strong teachers who have had some SEN exposure within a mainstream setting. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to move away from mainstream teaching and gain experience working in a Special School. It is also an opportunity to:
- Work in an outstanding SEN school
- Gain excellent professional development opportunities
- Share best practice with outstanding and dedicated teachers
This is a permanent position to start after Easter, but there is the possibility of permanent for the right candidate.
Our client are a dedicated special school who provide for pupils who have statements for a range of special educational needs, including children on the Autism Spectrum and those with moderate learning and behavioural difficulties. They cater for students from the ages of 5-16. Due to varying levels of difficulties and ability the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of differentiation within the classroom.
Please send your CV to Greg Burns who is our dedicated SEN Consultant and will be happy to guide you through each step of the process from your application, and support up right up to the day you start with the School.
