This secondary school with a fantastic reputation in the local area is recruiting for a English Teacher from February half term to cover a long term maternity leave. The school has been rated good in its most recent Ofsted report with a strong team ethos and fantastic support network in each department.

You will be responsible for teaching, English language and Literature up to key stage 4, planning, preparing and marking work, ensure that the pupils are on track to hit projected grades and preparing them for exams and attending any after school meetings / parents evenings as required.

You will be required to undertake this role as if you where a permanent member of staff and will be welcomed as so by the team within the department. You must be a qualified English Teacher with QTS to be considered for this role and have the passion, drive and enthusiasm for delivering the national curriculum to the high standard expected by the school.
