Position: Senior Claims Adjuster - Energy
Location: City of London
Job type: 12 Month FTC Maternity Cover Contract
Our company client is an international insurer who are actively seeking to appoint a dynamic and efficient Senior Claims Adjuster to join their Energy, Property & Construction team London - based on a 12 month fixed-term basis. The jobholder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of predominantly Energy claims, with focus also on Property and Construction classes. The successful applicant will also manage key Broker and Underwriter relationships and mentor more junior Adjusters. This is a unique opportunity to join a widely respected brand in a period of fast paced change.
Main duties will cover as follows:
* Responsible for handling a portfolio of worldwide energy, property and construction claims through to settlement, ensuring the most cost-effective conclusion for all parties
* Build and enhance relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Legal Professionals
* Ensure claims MI and reporting requirements are met
* Ensure all compliance and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and ensure all emerging risks are reported
* Respond to wider business needs and complete ad-hoc duties where required
Background and key abilities required:
* 5+ year's experience managing and settling Energy claims across a worldwide remit
* Strong knowledge of Property and Construction claims classes
* Ability to manage and develop key relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Third Parties
* Strong knowledge of the Lloyd's insurance market
* Strong understanding of regulatory controls within insurance claims
* Ability to use Lloyd's ECF system
* ACII / CII highly preferred
