New opportunity not to be missed! Weir Minerals have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Todmorden. We are offering the successful Maintenance Engineer a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum.

The Maintenance Technician Role
The Maintenance team are now looking to add a skilled Maintenance Technician to their team. The role is Electrically biased and will involve all types of electrical tasks, mainly carrying out planned maintenance and fault finding on CNC Machines, Electrical distribution system and Foundry equipment, PLC, HV, over head Cranes, Heat treatment ovens, Induction furnaces, Facilities equipment and Motor Drives.
Experience & Skills needed to become our Maintenance Technician:
- Skilled Maintenance Technician with Electrically biased experience
- Min 5 years experience of planned electrical maintenance as well as fast response to breakdowns
- Experience of working in a Machine Shop in Manufacturing/Engineering would be desirable
- Experience of working within a Foundry in Manufacturing would be advantageous
- Self motivated
- Can work independently
- Team player
- Service focussed
- Flexible to working various shift patterns including night shift
Qualifications
- 17h Edition wiring
- HNC Electrical qualifications or equivalent
- Time served apprentice with ONC/HNC
- Certificates in High Voltage Switch Operations would be advantageous
