Assistant Domestic Abuse Support Worker

Women’s Housing Action Group (WHAG) is a leading charity working in Rochdale, Bury, Wigan and Cheshire West and Chester providing domestic abuse support to women and men and homelessness support to women. We provide different levels of support improving the safety and life opportunities of our service users.

We are looking for an energetic and organised co-worker who is passionate about making a difference to women and men who are experiencing and fleeing domestic abuse and homelessness. We are looking for a new member who will play a key role in supporting our clients. The role require a rare combination of strengths in organisation, relationship building and practical judgement.

Assistant Domestic Abuse Support Worker - Cheshire West and Cheshire

To provide clients with assistance and support as required in our refuge, delivering group-work sessions and accepting referrals.

• Salary Point 17: £17,340 (Pro Rata) plus sleep in payment of £30
• Hours: 23 a week. Sunday 3:30pm to Monday 9am, Monday 4:30pm to Tuesday 9am, Tuesday 4:30pm to Wednesday 9am (sleep 11pm-8am)
