SALARY:
GBP30,000 - GBP40,000+ (Negotiable depending on experience) + Car Allowance, Bonus, Benefits & Package

LOCATION:
This permanent vacancy is based near Mansfield so candidates living in Mansfield, Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Matlock, Alfreton, Kirkby in Ashfield, Worksop, Loughborough, Leicester or other local areas are preferred. We are however considering candidates looking to relocate to the East Midlands region.

THE ROLE:
Working for one of the UK's leading engineering groups, you will join their water process engineering company based from the East Midlands Technical Office.

Working with the Software Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role working on the development of PLC and control systems used on water treatment plant, liquid process equipment and industrial systems used in multiple commercial sectors.

Working closely with project managers, project engineers and design engineers, you will develop and implement PLC and HMI software suited to individual customer requirements. Your duties will also include producing FDS documents, testing, site meetings, project reviews and developing new systems.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for an experienced PLC Software Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or similar professional with a background in a similar post to that described above.

Experience programming Siemens, Allen Bradley and/or other major systems would be very advantageous.

Alongside your PLC knowledge you will also understand the application of these systems and how they apply to process and/or water engineering projects.

Working exposure to P&ID's, schematics, process plans, design specifications and producing FDS documents is required.Commissioning experience would also be of benefit.

Although we will consider suitable experience in other sectors, if you have any exposure to the process, water treatment, waste water, liquid transfer, chemical process or similar markets, please make this clear in your CV.
