Position: Management Accountant
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £300 per day
Type of Job: 3 - 6 months - Interim Contract role
Our company client is a well respected insurer who are currently seeking to appoint a driven and organised Management Accountant to join their thriving team based in Liverpool. The function will assist the already large finance team and has arisen due to a change in team responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for career development.
Main accountabilities:
You will assist in the management of the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes;
You will assist in management of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting;
You will support management financial analysis;
You will produce the first draft of the Group Statutory Financial Statements;
You will assist in assessing business cases and ensuring benefits realisation;
You will assist in identifying and adopting best practice in finance areas;
You will assist in internal and external audit.
Background and qualifications required:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Proven ability in a Financial Services company and environment.
- Management reporting experience.
The role is offering a great day rate of £300 per day, with an opportunity of some flexible working after the initial first month.
