Our client, a new Digital Marketing Agency is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to amplify expansion. They have experienced rapid growth over the last 12 months and need a B2B Sales Manager to work directly for the business owner to identify and recruit new customers who are looking to maximise the return from their online presence.
The Sale Manager role is a new position and as such, gives the opportunity to the candidate to shape and develop the sales strategy for the business. The key activity is to identify, target & recruit new customers.
The expected day-to-day activities of the Sales Manager would be:
Identifying new prospects and contacting them to arrange face to face meetings.
Researching the prospect company, obtaining market / industry stats from Google consultant and preparing a pitch.
Meeting the prospect (with a technical assistant) to match product solutions to the prospect`s need.
Closing the deal - follow up to ensure maximum conversion rates.
Other activities could include:
Networking to raise awareness of the company and its products throughout the local business community.
Building rapport with local influencers who may reflect positively on the business.
Working with charities, schools etc to enhance our reputation within the wider community.
Developing partners who could provide sources of referrals.
Developing and honing the sales strategy & process to meet business goals efficiently.
Exploring and developing new sales channels.
