Our client is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of state-of-the-art flood management solutions. They are now looking for a Senior Accounts Supervisor to join their team.

As the Senior Accounts Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the company's Finance function.
In this new and integral role, you will be the first member of the in-house finance team, operating in a standalone position, so the ability to effectively manage your own workload is essential.
You'll liaise with the company's external Accountants to perform a range of tasks and assist with the development, implementation and documentation of improved accounting processes and procedures
Specifically, your duties will involve:
- Processing orders and performing sales invoicing
- Bookkeeping, including foreign currency transactions
- Carrying out credit control tasks and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with project costing and profit margin management
- Supporting VAT and CIS accounting, as well as the forecast and budgeting function
- Responding to telephone queries and assisting visitors to the office as required
- Completing general administration tasks
Interested? To be considered, you must have at least three years' experience in a busy accounts function, ideally within an SME environment.
Working among a small team, as the Senior Accounts Supervisor, you must be helpful, positive and flexible with excellent attention to detail, even whilst under pressure. You must also have a strong work ethic, a team player mentality and the ability to work on your own initiative.
Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing or construction organisation would be beneficial to your application.
