Accounts / Audit Senior - ACA/ACCA - Tamworth, Staffordshire
Salary: GBP 30K - GBP 35K plus benefits

An award winning top 15 firm of chartered accountants our client is currently looking to recruit an ambitious Accounts / Audit Senior at their Tamworth office. The company support over 35,000 clients from a network of over 60 offices across the UK, and are a member of one of the world`s leading organisations of accounting, law and consulting firms.
The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountancy professional with a background within practice to join a forward thinking firm at an exciting time in its development. The company provide leading business advisory, financial management and tax services to a wide range of clients across the UK. Based out of their Tamworth office and reporting to the Accounts / Audit Manager, your role would entail providing a high quality accounting and auditing service to a portfolio of clients.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the preparation of year end accounts as well as planning and completing the auditing of statutory accounts. You would also be involved in some corporation tax compliance work, preparing computations and returns. You will be expected to complete all work in accordance with the deadlines set within the client service level agreement, building effective relationships with clients and dealing with queries accurately and efficiently.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the role will either be AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with practical hands on accounting and auditing experience within a practice. You might currently be working for a smaller regional practice and are looking for an opportunity to develop your experience and skillset within a leading company. You must have experience managing the accounts of a portfolio of clients.
You will be a well organised individual, able to multitask and prioritise a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. This is a client-facing role so excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with people at all levels will be required.
