Temporary Machine Operator/General Hands

John Guest Limited is a multi-national company and a world leader in the Manufacture of advanced design plastic “push-in” fittings, used in many Market sectors. 

We require the Temporary Machine Operator/General Hands
Day shift - 07.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs
Night shift - 19.00 hrs to 07.00 hrs
28 day continental rota system (approx 41.125 hours per week)

Responsible for manufactured parts and product movement, your duties will include the assembly of products manually and using automatic machines, quality checks, quality testing and ensuring that all works orders are accompanied by the correct documentation. Operating the machines to achieve maximum output you will report all deviations from the specification to the Supervisor or deputy and assist in the movement of work throughout the department.

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will have good communications skills, a keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic and flexible approach. Previous purchase ledger experience is an essential requirement for this role.
