What it's about

Cambridge English is looking for a new member to join its Events Unit to work in a very busy, highly-pressured, deadline-driven and fast moving working environment as an Events Co-ordinator.

The Events Unit delivers a worldwide programme of conferences, webinars and workshops to support the promotion and positioning of Cambridge English in a global market. Cambridge English has a well-deserved reputation with its stakeholders, both internal and external, for delivering innovative, exceptionally organised events which provide excellent delegate value in terms of professional content and overall experience.

What you'll be doing
You will take ownership and deliver a portfolio of face-to-face events, across markets and sectors, to the highest possible standard, and to ensure that these events are in line with strategic and event specific objectives, and that the events deliver the relevant messages to the respective audiences and stakeholders.

When delivering events you will deal with multiple promotional objectives across a range of integrated marketing activities, and co-ordinate the development and production of exhibition stands and equipment, graphics, adverts, inserts, publications, editorials and presentations. You will also co-ordinate new media activities, including webinars, online advertising, bespoke web pages and microsites, online registration pages, promotional emails and online feedback.

What we're looking for
You are a confident and effective communicator with extensive events experience. Having worked in a client focussed role you also have experience of cross team working. Using strong prioritisation skills you are able to meet multiple deadlines. You are numerate with budget tracking experience, a competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and educated to degree level or equivalent. An additional marketing or business qualification is desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader and be rewarded with valuable learning opportunities, a competitive salary and benefits.
