Up to ??20,000 per annum + attractive benefits package. Locations: Bridgewater, Minehead, Taunton, Glastonbury, Wellington, Weston-super-Mare, Tiverton, Dulverton, Watchet & Burnham-on-Sea. These stores continue to provide customers with a selected range of high quality fresh food ranges, including ready meals, fresh produce, sandwiches, wine, flowers and groceries. As a Deputy/Assistant Manager you will manage all aspects of the store and help deliver the most amazing shopping experience to each and every customer. You will work closely with the store manager, contributing to the store's financial performance, finding ways to increase sales and doing in-store promotions. You will also look after orders and deliveries, and help recruit new team members. It's a lot like being a store manager. In fact, you will stand-in for the store manager when they are away. The role is about getting stuck in to deliver a great customer experience and leading, coaching and developing your team of supervisors and customer service assistants. Ideally you will have experience of working within a fast paced, high volume retail or hospitality store/unit as a manager, team leader, section leader or supervisor. As well as having a commercial mind, you will need to be passionate about helping customers and have lots of ideas on how to get the best out of your team.
