Morgan Hunt are pleased to be supporting a well-regarded education provider with the appointment of an interim Income Team Leader for a period of 3 months. In this role you will be tasked with supervising their existing team of 5 on a day to day basis ensuring all invoices are raised promptly upon receipt.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervision of the Income Team, including completing appraisals, staff development and on the job training
- To ensure all fees invoices are raised in a prompt manner, and the integrity of the fees ledger is maintained through reconciliation
- Monitor aged debt balances and debt collection activities
- Ensure credit control procedures are operating effectively and in line with good practice
- To support the Finance Manager with other financial and statistical work as appropriate
- Complete weekly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations as required
- To ensure all cash collected is recorded, reconciled and balanced in a timely and accurate manner
- monitor any on-line payment systems and ensure accurate and timely posting of income and regular reconciliations are carried out
- Ensure direct debits are collected and received and recorded in a timely manner
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong team leadership experience gained within income recovery. You will ideally be AAT qualified or qualified by experience and be able to start at short notice.
