LOCATION: Donaghmore, Co Tyrone with intermittent travel throughout Ireland and the UK
SALARY AND BENEFITS: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus pension and a company car.

THE COMPANY: Our client is a well-established property development and management company based in Donaghmore, Co Tyrone. The company manages a diverse range of property interests throughout the UK and Ireland and now wishes to make the new appointment of a Senior Project Manager.
THE ROLE:
The Senior Project Manager is a lead role reporting directly to the company owner on all development related activities. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a proactive and commercial approach.
THE POSITION:
As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the construction of large and small scale projects and have the ability to people manage, estimate cost and programme on site works.
You will be the main point of contact with Architects, Engineers, M+E Engineers, Fire Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Contractors, Building Control and specialist Sub Contractors and as such you should be able to brief, supervise, challenge, lead, communicate and negotiate with all parties.
Intermittent travel throughout Ireland and the UK will be required.

THE PERSON:
- Technical construction background with 7 - 10 years industry experience and ideally have been a construction project manager for the past 3 -5 years
- Proven track record of completed construction projects in line with agreed documentation & timescales
- Good general understanding for construction of new buildings, civil engineering and existing building alterations and refurbishments
- Good interpersonal and negotiating skills, with the ability to work under your own initiative and manage the wider aspects of construction
- Preferably have qualified as an Architectural Technologist or similar 3rd level qualification and have progressed within their career to have a good understanding of Building Regulations and Technical Guidance Documents
- Ability to read, draft and alter Architectural Drawings, Engineering Drawings, M+E Drawings and Specifications
- Able to negotiate contracts and agreements with end users and ensure projects are completed in accordance with the agreed documents and timescales
- Excellent attention to detail.
