Key Account Executive

Key Account Executive Swindon £35,000 - £37,000 p.a. + £3.5k car allowance + bonus

Office based, commercially minded Key Account Executive for Swindon based retail fit out / construction business - occasional UK / European travel required

The Role

The Key Account Executive will deal with main customer(s) on strategic and special projects, managing the sales, commercial and customer service relationship to maximum effect. You will build strong relationships with the client, working on supply chain / technical / commercial pricing and delivery aspects of customer specific products / projects for retail fixtures, display equipment and point of sale ( POS ) products etc. The role is office based, with some travel to meetings with UK (and occasionally EU) based clients. Responsibilities include:

• managing review and response to customer bids, tenders, quotations etc.
• ensuring all customer enquiries and issues are resolved quickly and accurately
• commercial administrative documentation / project managing processes
• managing costing processes through to margin application and selling price
• relationship building in an interactive and customer focused manner

Their integrated offering provides specialist expertise, project management and a wide range of merchandising products and services to take projects from concept design through to completion.

The Person

The ideal Key Account Executive will be highly numerate preferably with previous experience in a commercial office environment working in key account management. Experience in estimating / costings / pricing / QS or a specific interest / ability in spreadsheets and cost / price modelling would be extremely beneficial along with sector knowledge of retail fixtures / display equipment / POS products and supply. You will need a thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to work on your own initiative to offer outstanding customer service and key account management.
