Data Analyst - eContent and System Reporting

Our client offers a range of innovative office solutions and products. They are now seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. 

If you have a track record of eContent management and knowledge of eCommerce systems, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful company offering great development and promotion prospects. 

As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing new and existing data to improve product and eCommerce efficiencies and support our client’s Group Purchasing function. 

Identifying potential data sources, you’ll maintain effective working relationships with data suppliers and collect, validate and export all data to the necessary group or customer systems. 

You’ll create and maintain an operational roadmap for where data should be used and manage the in-house data system to ensure that data is maintained and improved. 

Additionally, you will be part of a team producing and manipulating product, price, purchasing and sales data for analysis for pricing, tenders, reporting and catalogue functions, working closely with the Buyers and Category Managers. 

Your other duties will include: 

- Enriching the product data for eCommerce systems 
- Ensuring that product data is compliant with UK legislation 
- Providing customer specific data according to project or customer needs 
- Supporting day-to-day product issues 

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must have: 

- Previous experience of managing eContent 
- A working knowledge of eCommerce systems 
- Advanced and up-to-date MS SQL and MS Excel skills 

As the Data Analyst, you must be a confident communicator with great relationship-building skills and the ability to work on your own initiative to meet tight deadlines. 

Experience of VBA and the ability to create queries, tables and reports would be beneficial to your application.
