Teaching Assistant SEND Lingfield 10-13K
Start Date: 23rd January 2017

Do you have a particular interest that you feel would help expand student?s experiences? We are currently looking for individuals to work with a range of exciting students with varying learning difficulties.
The school prides its self on strong sensory and communication skills as well as meeting the needs of the vast independent curriculum it offers.
The school is a purpose built facility and is full of state of the art equipment, including sensory room and hydro therapy pool. It is very forward thinking and strives to push learners to have the fullest life and experiences. The school offers a multi disciplinary approach and each day is always full of exciting new challenges. Individuals have access to gym membership and various Shift patterns.
In this role as a Teaching Assistant you will be :-
> Unlocking student?s full potential.
> Responsible for ensuring learners are supported with educational and pastoral needs.
> Supporting the class teacher is producing a fun, creative and exciting learning environment.
> Supporting learners with communication and independence needs.
> Working within very small groups for support across the curriculum.
> Using your interests to engage learners in learning.
> Supporting learners in a range of activities to maximise progress.
The ideal candidate may posses the following skills and capabilities:-
> Be able to work with learners that have complex learning and emotional needs.
> Work as a part of a multi disciplinary team to ensure students meet their educational, emotional, cultural, physical and health needs, allowing the pupils here to flourish.
> Have an understanding of the Epilepsy, Autistic spectrum and other associated conditions.
> Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.
> The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team.
> Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
> Be flexible in their approach to education.
